As part of the ‘Keep Britain Tidy’ scheme and RMS Community Day, 23 students joined forces to complete a litter pick of Chesterton Park, Castle Street and part of London Road. Sporting high visibility jackets, litter pickers and bin bags, the students completed a sterling job of keeping the local area tidy. Over 20 bin bags full of litter were collected and correctly disposed of. That afternoon, there was a real sense of pride and community from the students and they should be congratulated on their hard work and positive attitude.
